Jamie has been coaching swimming at various levels since 2004. He has worked with local summer clubs, age group, high school and professional swimmers. He spent two years at the North Baltimore Aquatic Club (NBAC), training a group of elite high school swimmers under the tutelage of ASCA Hall of Fame Coach Bob Bowman and National Junior Team Head Coach, Scott Armstrong.
As a swimmer, Jamie trained under Bowman at NBAC for three years, and again at Club Wolverine in Michigan in 2006. He competed at the 2004 and 2008 Olympic Trials, was ranked in the top 100 globally in the breast stroke events for three years and was awarded the Rookie of the Meet trophy at the 2003 Summer National Championships. He won a National Championship in 2006 in the 4X100 Medley Relay.
Jamie created the Chelsea Piers Aquatics program, which includes everything from learn-to-swim to training techniques/curriculum for the CPAC swim team. The CP-AC Swim Team has accumulated several individual State and National records, won the States the past three years and is sending two swimmers to the Olympic Trials in 2016.
