In 2010, Marjorie was named one of Golf Digest’s 50 Best Women Teachers in America. Additionally she has been recognized as the LPGA Northeast Section Teacher of the Year and Player of the Year. Marjorie won the PGA Women's Stroke Play Championship and the LPGA National Team Championship twice.
A golf professional for more than 30 years, she has played professional golf in Europe, Asia, Australia and in the United States on the LPGA and Legends Tours. She played in eight British Opens, five United States Opens, and has won numerous other events.
She has been a full-time teacher for more than 20 years. Her background in movement science and sports psychology helps Marjorie evaluate a student's motion and mental preparation in order to customize her teaching to the player's needs. She is a Class A member of the LPGA and PGA and holds a Bachelor's degree from Ithaca College in Physical Education as well as a Master's degree in Exercise Physiology from Florida State University.
