CHELSEA PIERS TEAM MEMBERS RECRUITED BY TOP COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES

ELEVEN ATHLETES ACROSS FOUR SPORTS WILL CONTINUE THEIR ATHLETIC EXCELLENCE NEXT FALL

(Stamford, CT – June 3, 2015) – Chelsea Piers Connecticut (CPCT) is proud to announce that eleven members of the Chelsea Piers Athletic Club (CP-AC) will continue to compete in their respective sports at the collegiate level this fall.

Since opening in 2012, Chelsea Piers has continued to gain esteem in the Fairfield County area due to its elite level coaches and athletes. There are currently more than 700 athletes across 10 teams competing under the CP-AC umbrella, with many on track to continue their athletic careers at top universities and colleges. 

In addition to the latest college commitments, other recent CP-AC athlete accomplishments include: nine members of the CP-AC Water Polo were selected to compete in the Northeast Zone Olympic Development Program Team, CP-AC Squash had the best collective finish out of every team in the country at the U.S. Squash Junior Nationals and the CP-AC Boys Gymnastics team were named Level 4 State Champions.
