Chelsea Piers Athletic Club Water Polo Athletes Named Academic All-Americans

12 MEMBERS RECEIVE HONOR, OUTNUMBERING ALL OTHER PROGRAMS IN THE TRISTATE

(Stamford, CT – September 14, 2015) – Chelsea Piers Connecticut is proud to announce that twelve members of the Chelsea Piers Athletic Club (CP-AC) Water Polo team have been named 2014-2015 Academic All-Americans. Having more Academic-All Americans than any other team in the tristate, CP-AC Water Polo continues to establish itself not only as a dominate program athletically, but academically as well.

The Academic All-American title is awarded to athletes 10^th grade or above with a 3.6 grade point average. Those achieving a 4.0 or higher are considered Outstanding Academic All-Americans, of which CP-AC has 10.

“We have a long standing tradition of both academic and athletic success at CP – AC Water Polo,” said Paul Ramaley, Water Polo Director and Head Coach at Chelsea Piers Connecticut. “These athletes put in a tremendous amount of work both in and out of the pool and are establishing themselves as one of the most accomplished group of student athletes we have seen.”
