CHELSEA PIERS AQUATICS CLUB TAKES THIRD IN SPEEDO WINTER JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIPS

December 5th through 8th, five swimmers from the Chelsea Piers Aquatics Club made their mark at the Speedo Winter Junior Championships- East in Greensboro, North Carolina. The team, including Bridget Semenuk, Sophia Moore, Maxine Parker, Kate Douglass and Elizabeth Boeckman, took third place overall for women’s teams!

Day 2

Kate Douglass took second in the Girls 200 Individual medley (1.56.09) Watch the race

Maxine Parker and Kate Douglass raced in the A finals of the Girls 50 Freestyle. Kate Douglas took second with a time of 21.95. Watch the race.

Day 3

First place 200 Freestyle relay team of Bridget Semenuk, Sophia Moore, Maxine Parker, and Kate Douglass took down the 15-18 National Age Group and meet records with a combined for a time of 1:29.04 Watch the race

Kate Douglass took second in the Girls 100 Butterfly (51.95) Watch the race

Maxine Parker took third in the girls 200 freestyle (1:46.21) Watch the race

Day 4

Bridget Semenuk, Maxine Parker, and Kate Douglass all raced in the A finals of the Girls 100 m Freestyle. Kate Douglas took third with a time of 48.81. Watch the race.

400 Freestyle relay team of Bridget Semenuk, Sophia Moore, Maxine Parker, and Kate Douglass took third place with a combined for a time of 3:20.59 Watch the race.

Elizabeth Boeckman dropped 12 seconds off her best time to finish 3rd in the 1650 Freestyle
