The invite-only jamboree attracted more than 60 hockey players to show off their skills at the two-day event attended by prep school and junior hockey coaches and scouts from many of the Northeast’s top schools and programs. Those in attendance included Millbrook, Hoosac School, Brewster Academy, Holderness School, Canterbury School, Trinity-Pawling School, The New England Wolves (AHI), The New York Bobcats (EHL), The Connecticut Yankees and the Mid-Fairfield Junior Rangers.
“Chelsea Piers Connecticut is excited to continue the tradition of hosting the Dual-County Classic,” commented Greta Wagner, Executive Director at Chelsea Piers Connecticut. “Our goal is to assist high school hockey players in gaining exposure with New England Prep Schools and Junior Hockey Teams. CPCT looks forward to helping these athletes achieve their goals of playing hockey at the highest possible level.”
The Blue Team finished with the best record in the championship game. The Most Valuable Player trophy was awarded to White Plains native Michael Patterson (98’). Patterson is a member of the Connecticut Junior Rangers.
