Full Throttle Endurance Competes at Nationals

(New York, NY - August 16, 2017) - Chelsea Piers Full Throttle Endurance team sent 13 triathletes to compete amongst thousands at the Age Group Nationals, hosted by USA Triathlon this past weekend in Omaha. Six of these athletes made the top 10 in their age group and six qualified for Worlds in Gold Coast, Australia in 2018. Additionally, with only 13 athletes competing, the Full Throttle team still managed to win the Nationals Club Team Division.

Full Throttle Endurance is one of NYC’s most successful triathlon training programs for athletes of all levels. As the only USA Triathlon Certified Training Center in the Northeast, the Sports Center is uniquely qualified to provide the most comprehensive tri training programs in New York City. Our world-class facilities, expert instruction and finely tuned curriculum provide an unprecedented environment for training and successfully competing in triathlons.

“Age Group Nationals is the most competitive amateur race in the country. The competition is very strong,” commented Andrew Kalley, Senior Triathlon Coach for the Chelsea Piers Full Throttle Endurance Triathlon team. “We are extremely excited and proud of both the individual and team accomplishments this weekend.”
