Fulfill your dancing dreams this Spring with the Mark Morris Dance Center! The celebrated Brooklyn-based dance group and educational center is returning to our Brooklyn club to host three dance classes open to all members. Can’t fit one into your schedule? They’re offering drop-in discounts to our members for classes at their Brooklyn facility.
BROOKLYN CLASS SCHEDULE
April 14 | 2:00 - 3:00pm | Intro to Flamenco | Sophia Mintz
Learn the fundamentals of a beautiful Spanish art form. This introductory-level class will emphasize the relationship between the dance and the music and allow students to explore its many possibilities for self-expression. Taught by Mark Morris Dance Center teaching artist Sophia Mintz.
May 15 | 2:00 - 3:00pm | Zumba | Bethina Flores
ZUMBA® is a dance-based fitness class using international music and steps – Salsa, Cumbia, Merengue, Swing, Tango, Samba, Reggaeton (Latin/Funk) and more. Nonstop energetic routines feature intervals with fast and slow rhythms in addition to resistance training. No partner or previous dance experience required.

June 16 | 2:00 - 3:00pm | Intro to Hip-Hop | Calvin Rollins
Learn the basics of this popular and innovative dance genre including freestyle, popping and locking in this fun and welcoming environment.

After this first registration, the approved affiliate rate will be added to your account for 6 months, allowing you to access the affiliate rate when signing up for classes online as well.
