Chance Scheffing

Chance began his love affair with the game over two decades ago while belting balls at his father's driving range in New Mexico. Over the course of his career, Chance has worked at some of the top facilities in the nation, including The Breakers Palm Beach & Trump International. He has worked alongside some of the best instructors in the game, namely, Todd Anderson and Dr. Gary Wiren (PGA Hall Of Fame). Chance has taught at top private clubs in the Metropolitan area, including Gardiner's Bay Country Club, as the Director of the GBCC Golf Academy/First Assistant Golf Professional. Chance also worked at Manasquan River Golf Club as a PGA Assistant Golf Professional for four years under the guidance of Brent Studer, PGA Head Professional (NJPGA Player of the Year in 2003).

Chance's professional experience has greatly enhanced his knowledge and expertise in the game of golf. Chance has most recently achieved PGA Certification in Teaching and Coaching, a designation held by less than 3 percent of the 22,000 members of The PGA of America.

Named as a US Kids Top 50 Instructor in 2013 as well as receiving an Honorable Mention in 2012, Chance has been consistently recognized for his passion to grow the game and his continued commitment to junior golf.

Chance is a Class A PGA Member Certified in Teaching and Coaching, a First Tee Certified Assistant Coach, a US Kids Certified Instructor, a 4 Putting Elements Certified Instructor, and Certified FlightScope 3D Doppler tracking radar technology to be applied in golf teaching and club fitting practices. Chance is an expert club fitter with certifications from all major brands.
