Patrick Clisham from Greenwich and Darien resident Kelly Cattano each recently signed National Letters of Intent to continue their respective swimming careers at Division I Universities.

The signing ceremony took place at Chelsea Piers Connecticut in Stamford. A senior at Greenwich High School, Clisham will swim at Loyola University of Maryland next year. He joined Chelsea Piers Athletic Club Swimming in 2012 and has successfully competed in the sprint freestyle and butterfly events.

As a member of the Greenwich High boys swimming team, Clisham qualified for the CIAC State Open Championships last winter. He placed 10th in the 100-yard butterfly and 15th in the 200-yard freestyle at the State Open. Clisham also was sixth in the 100 butterfly at the Class LL Championships and seventh in the 200 freestyle for Greenwich, which won the State Open and Class LL titles last season.

A senior at King School in Stamford, Cattano will swim at Bucknell University in the fall of 2017. She joined Chelsea Piers Athletic Club Swimming in 2012 and has flourished in the freestyle and the individual medley relay events since.
