Susie Starr

Susie began her coaching career at Fairfield University as the Graduate Assistant for goalkeepers. She worked under the tutelage of Kelly Boudreau (2012 graduate), who currently holds many MAAC Conference and Fairfield University records.

Susie grew up up playing soccer in Connecticut. She played for Westport Arsenal, now known as the Connecticut Football Club. During her tenure, the team was ranked top five in the region and was nationally ranked for four straight years (2001-2004). She won three state championships and made two regional finals appearances. Susie received numerous accolades during her high school playing career, including a four-time All-FCIAC selection, three-time All-State and two-time All-Region and All-American Selection.

After high school, Susie played at Yale University starting as goalie for three out of her four years. In her senior year, she was a unanimous selection for All-Ivy honors. Susie was also a First Team NSCAA All-Region (Northeast) for Yale University.
