Newest Summer Camp In Brooklyn
January 31, 2023
Are you ready for the best summer ever? If you are a parent of young kids, the feeling of joy about warmer weather, vacation and no more school also means it’s time to find a summer camp!
Brooklyn Parents: there’s a new camp in town! Chelsea Piers Brooklyn is opening in June 2023 with brand new, premier gymnastics, ninja-parkour, soccer and aquatics facilities located at 595 Dean Street, just a few blocks away from the Barclays Center.
The Olympic-level gymnastics training facility will include equipment for all women’s events, an oversized spring-loaded floor, specialty preschool instructional areas, a tumble track and two trampolines. The center boasts deep foam pits for young and old to vault, tumble, and swing into! Chelsea Piers Brooklyn also includes two boarded indoor turf soccer fields, dedicated ninja + parkour equipment and a 1,300 square-foot warm water instructional pool (4’ deep), perfect for young swimmers.
Of the opening, Jessie Betts Dreyfus COO of Chelsea Piers Brooklyn shared, “As a mother of two young children, I am especially excited to offer Brooklyn families a single, central facility where they can find a wide array of youth sports programming. Across a multitude or sports and disciplines, from beginner to expert, preschool to high school, we will have it all under one roof. Our Brooklyn expansion will mirror the first-in-class instruction, coaching and programming of our flagship location in Chelsea.”
