January is Mindfulness Month at Chelsea Piers Fitness. And we have several ways for you to up your Om game including a Mindfulness Challenge, plus several workshops and events to get you on track for a more balanced 2020.
Mindfulness Challenge
This month we’re “challenging” you to take on more mindful work and incorporate the practice into your busy life. With all of the chatter around New Year’s Resolutions, we wanted to challenge members to slow down and practice more mindfulness in the New Year. This is obviously a personal journey, but we’re here to help members by providing you with some of the tools you will need to incorporate more mindfulness into your life in 2020. There is no “prize” for winners at the end of this challenge, because of course, being more self-aware is the ultimate prize!
Gratitude Journal
- 2020 Gratitude Journal will be handed out by Chelsea Piers Evolve Yoga instructors after classes and at our January mindfulness events while supplies last.
- Journals will have several inserts to guide you through the challenge.

Mindfulness + Meditation Workshops
Join us for a workshop on Mindfulness + Meditation. We will cover the three fundamentals of these practices and give you tips and tools for implementing mindfulness and meditation into your everyday life. Each participant will receive a 2020 Gratitude Journal to kick start the new year!

Sound Bath Meditation Events
This sound experience functions as a tune-up for the body, where soundscape created by over-tone emitting sound instruments will be used to attune your body. It provides a reset of your mental-emotional state, brings clarity to the mind, nourishes the emotions and rejuvenates the body. Additional energy healing principles will be applied to further help anchor wholeness in your being.

Morning Meditation at the Salt Cave of Darien
